Febiofest-International Film Festival
Febiofest is the largest film festival in the Czech Republic and the second most prestigious festival in the country (after Karlovy Vary).
The festival presents a wide spectrum of contemporary and retrospective examples of high-quality film including alternative, film-school and amateur works to a diverse viewing public.

Prague Spring Festival
The Prague Spring is one of the most important music festivals from Europe. The Prague Spring International Music Festival bring on his start young performing artists, symphony orchestras and chamber music ansembles from entire world. Musicians like: Leonard Bernstein, Jaroslav Krombholc, Rafael Kubelík, Moura Lympany, Yevgeny Mravinski, Charles Munch, Karel Ančerl, Ginette Neveu, Jarmila Novotná, Sir Adrian Boult, Lev Oborin, David Oistrach, Rudolf Firkušný and Jan Panenka have won ovations on the Prague Spring Festival stage.

Prague Easter Markets
This festival is a piece of Czech traditinal culture. At the Old Town Square & Wenceslas Square are exhibit for sale objects like wooden toys, jewellery, metal-ware, crystal, candles, embroidery, puppets and dolls in regional costume, all hand crafted. The atraction of this event are the hand-painted Easter eggs. Czech ladies in traditional costumes paint the eggs with names or special messages.

Prague Marathon Weekend
More than 20,000 runners come in Prague every year for the Prague International Marathon. This Marathon include four events: a non-competitive fun runs for all dynamics persons, a 10 km City Run for the active sportsmen, a 4.2 km Family Run for the children and their parents and the 4.2 km Corporate Run.

Khamoro World Roma Festival
This year, in Prague, will take place again the Khamoro festival, where musicians from all the world are singing everything from Gypsy jazz to traditional Roma folk songs. The festival offer also film screenings, book readings,an exhibition of photographs and all culminates with an international seminar - a tribute to Milena Hubschmannova, the founder of the Romany Studies Department at Prague's Charles University.

Mikulas (St. Nicholas Day) - Prague
St. Nicholas' day, begins on 5th December and announces the start of Christmas for Czech people. For tourists in Prague wishing to experience the spectacle of Mikulas, head for the Old Town Square from late afternoon.
